TME Tape Reels Editorial Review
This kit of leader tape comes with 500 feet of leader tape, 82 feet of splicing tape and one US made GEM Triple Facet cut stainless steel media blade. It doesn't have any timing marks but is sturdy in quality, with excellent adhesives. The splicing tape is narrow, and it can sometimes be challenging to get good alignment with it. The plain white leader tape tends to have static cling, which makes the end hard to find, but adding an end mark with a Sharpie solves the problem. Overall, it is great for adding or replacing leader tape on reel to reel tapes, and the splicing tape is much nicer than thicker alternatives offered by other vendors.
