It is a perfect replacement for the backing plate that comes with the LHR21ES and is easy to install. However, it is not compatible with the LH19E and RUPES does not recommend using it with the 15ES polisher as it causes a lot of vibrations. The backing plate holds onto the pad tightly, possibly causing it to tear in the middle.
