The WIX Filters - 58996 Automatic Transmission Filter has garnered a mixed reception from customers primarily centered around fitment issues with specific vehicle models. While some users found success with their installation, noting that the filter fit perfectly in their Nissan models, others encountered significant compatibility challenges. A notable aspect of the reviews is the varied experiences related to product specifications. Several customers reported that, despite the catalog suggesting fit for various Nissan vehicles, they experienced discrepancies, particularly with the gasket not aligning properly or the filter not fitting their particular model at all. The feedback emphasizes that one should be cautious and confirm compatibility before purchasing, especially for models like the 2011 Nissan Cube and 2014 Nissan Cube, where installation success was not universal. Additionally, reviewers offered practical advice for installation, revealing that users should only attempt filter changes if they are comfortable dealing with more complex car components such as the valve body. The importance of having new O-rings was also highlighted, as this seems to be an oversight that could lead to problems during installation. Despite the issues with fitment, many customers praised the build quality of the products, indicating that the components felt robust and Consistent with WIX’s reputation. Overall, while some users expressed a willingness to purchase again, the highlights of their experiences indicate the need for careful verification of compatibility. **
