The FolkArt Acrylic Paint Set with 18 colors is a craft paint set designed for decorative painting on porous surfaces. They are not recommended for glazed ceramics or non-porous surfaces. These paints are very durable, but they are not suitable for outdoor use unless coated with an outdoor varathane. The paints are not metallic. Customer feedback for this product is mixed. Some customers have reported that the paints were clumpy or too dry and needed thinning with acrylic medium. Some customers experienced the majority of the paint arriving dry or old, dating back to 2012. However, the majority of the customers were pleased with the paint set, as it comes with a great deal and a good selection of colors.
