My membrane is a s1226rs. yours is a s1227rs and i noticed the bottom piece that sticks out is longer on this one than on mine. any thoughts???
Answer: The S1226RS is an outdated 24GPD membrane. The correct replacement is the S1227RS The bottom piece may be a bit longer but the overall membrane size in length is the same. -
Question:
How long should this membrane last? ( in a 3 filter system )
Answer: The S1227RS filter should be replaced every 3 to 4 years in a 3 filter system. The S7025 filter is every 18 months and the S7028 filters every 6 to 9 months. -
Question:
There seems to be a longer piece sticking out. will this work in a microline tfc 4?
Answer: As long as the full membrane length is within a 1/4 inch, it should work in a microline TFC 4. -
Question:
Is the s1227rs interchangeable with a s1229rs?
Answer: The newer S1229RS membrane is rated to produce up to 50 gpd and can be used as a replacement for the S1227RS in older 25 gpd systems.
