The BUCKLOS Mountain Bike Mechanical Disc Brake Caliper with Adapter is a dual-piston line pulling brake designed for use on the front or rear of a mountain bike. It is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and comes with a brake pad that fits a 160mm disc brake rotor. If you need to fit a rotor of a different size, you will need a mount adapter. The caliper is fairly easy to install if you know what you are doing. While the standard replacement pads that are supposed to work with these calipers are slightly too wide and do not fit well, there are replacement pads available that work with them, including TRP, Tektro, Shimano Deore, and many others. The caliper itself is not too heavy and seems to be well-made for the price. Overall, these brakes seem to work very well for most customers. They provide good stopping power and are fairly easy to install and adjust. However, some customers have had issues with the piston adjusting screws not working properly, and others have struggled to find replacement pads that fit correctly. Additionally, the caliper may not work well with certain bike frames or scooters due to the high position of the brake line post.
