Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: Will this fit on all bikes?

Answer: No, it is specifically designed for splined Shimano Octalink and ISIS Drive bottom bracket spindles.
  • Question: Is it easy to use?

Answer: Yes, the long handle and fine thread make it easy to remove tight crank arms.
  • Question: How long will it last?

Answer: With the stronger rotating tip system, it is designed for long life and durability.
  • Question: Will this work on a race face aeffect crank?

Answer: Don't know if it will work with the Raceface Aeffent crank, but I know for a fact that it works on the RaceFace Ride crank.
  • Question: Will this work to remove the cranks on a Bosch E-Bike?

    Answer: Y
  • Question: Will it remove crank arms from a race face 'EXI' interface external bottom bracket?

Answer: Word from Park Tool is that both the ISIS compatible CCP-44 and the compact CWP-7 will work with this particular crank arm.
  • Question: Will this work for eclat Maverick cranks?

Answer: Yea but- on my octalink the crank and handle were too close to be usable when the crank was coming off the shaft. The CWP-7 works a lot better, there's no handle and if the fit of the splines is tight a longer wrench is easier than a short thin handle.
