The AQQA Aquarium Heater comes in a powerful 500W for tanks ranging from 66-135 Gallons. Designed for both marine and freshwater aquariums including coral and Betta fish. Encased in plastic with an impact resistant secondary covering, the heater elements are encased in quartz tubes making it explosion proof. The only time the heater becomes a hazard is if the quartz tubes are broken impacting the element. In that case, it needs to be replaced. It is suitable for use with acrylic tanks and needs to be attached inside the aquarium by two suction cups. The heater should be fully submerged into the water and it comes with a sensor that should be attached outside the aquarium. Based on customer reviews, the AQQA Aquarium Heater is either a hit or a miss. Some are happy with their purchase and some have faced issues like power outages and damage to aquatic life. Overall the AQQA Aquarium Heater appears to be reliable for keeping aquarium temperatures regulated, but users should keep a close eye on how it performs to ensure there are no problems.
