The Cuisinel Cast Iron Skillet Set includes 8", 10", and 12" pans pre-seasoned for immediate use. The pans are Constructed of 100% cast iron and made in China. They come with silicone handle covers that may be removed during cooking. As with all cast iron pans, the company recommends not washing the pans in the dishwasher. Instead, use metal utensils on the pans, which are safe for use on an oven, grill or campfire. To season the pans, apply a thin layer of oil over the surface of the pan and bake it at a temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour. Customer reviews are mixed. Some customers praised the product as a worthy addition to their kitchens, with lids and quality cast ironware. The pans were easy to cook with, produced evenly cooked food, and were easy to clean. Some reviewers observed that the pans got too hot on induction stovetops and took time to learn appropriate usage.
