The music can be turned on and off, but the volume cannot be controlled. The rechargeable batteries come charged and battery life is good - two batteries can be charged and one can be used. The car can go as fast as 25 km/h, making it a good choice for boys 8-12. Special effects like smoke and music are great features. However, some customers experienced issues such as receiving a broken product, the wheel coming off after a month of use, and it stopped working after getting wet. One customer found the car to be underpowered and wished they spent more on a more powerful car.
