These struts are relatively easy to install and come with connectors that screw onto the lifts and snap onto the rear glass and the frame, ensuring an exact fit. According to customer reviews, these lift supports are very powerful and comparable to OEM. Customers have reported that they have replaced cheaper struts in the past that barely did the job and didn't work in the cold, but these struts are doing well. They work perfectly and will rise on its own and stay there. The liftgate is a little bit harder to close now but it is easier to open. One hand is enough to open the liftgate instead of using two hands. However, there have been some issues with freezing up on the tailgate strut and caused the entrance brake off. Hopefully, the seller will provide a free replacement for one of the tailgate struts. Furthermore, it takes a week or two to arrive, so plan for it.
