The Etnies Skate Shoe is viewed as a durable and versatile shoe that is stylish enough to be worn to work or casually. The lightweight foam padding and the Construction of the sole make them light and surprisingly durable. However, water does not sit well with these shoes, and some users had issues with the narrow toe area or the sole ripping apart after a week of use. Some users had trouble with the shoes slipping off while walking, which was a problem despite ordering the correct size. The rubber sole coating was a complained drawback, and it was perceived to make it less grippy, less slip-resistant on some surfaces. Overall, the Etnies Skate Shoe is a reasonably dependable shoe, except for some design and quality control issues that may be avoided by wearing and use habits.
