So far all I want this for is sawing aluminum. Will it work?
Answer: It will definitely cut aluminum. I use it to cut Closet Maid wire shelving which is made of non tempered steel and harder than aluminum. -

Which blade saws what material?
Answer: Mine only came with 3: 2 standard hacksaw blades that could be used for metal, wood, PVC, etc, one blade that looks like it is for trimming branches. I think the wire-looking blades are for multi-direction in ? materia. -

Are the wings on the wing screw metal or plastic?
Answer: Other than the hand grip areas, this entire saw is metal. -

Why would the seller show 3 pics of this cutting firewood? Really?
Answer: Surprise! This saw comes with 10 new blades. ALSO, the blade that is on the saw on arrival is like no blade I have ever seen... on one edge is a Hacksaw cutting edge... on the other edge of this special blade is a wood-cutting edge. Very unique. The wood cutting blade is half again as wide, (same thickness and length), a very versatile and handy blade. So yes, it is handy for cutting even 2x4-s and 2-3 inch logs/branches.nI am very happy with my purchase and recommend this saw to anyone, especially if convenience and durability are important. It's like two saws in one. -

Will this keep the blade straight while cutting, unlike cheaper models?
Answer: So far, I've not had this issue and I've used the hacksaw quite a bit. Hope this helps! -

Can I cut plexiglass pipe with this saw?
Answer: Don't know. I'm a very novice user, bought the saw for very general usage, i.e., occasionally cutting lengths of chain as needed for hanging birdhouses, and haven't even used it once since buying it.
