The Aerospring vertical gardening system is a unique indoor/outdoor unit that comes with all the necessary equipment (cups, pump, A/B minerals, and wool pods), but not the plants themselves. The unit requires a minimum of two hours of direct sunlight for the plants to grow properly, and the same rules apply for indoor spaces. Though it is slightly more challenging to germinate the seeds directly in the indoor system, it is possible, but it is better to do so separately. Transferring the seeds to the outdoor unit after germination is easy since the plastic cup and wool pods can be moved as is. One can use the Aerogarden pods as well since they work similarly to the rockwool cubes which are the ones supplied. Although the tower's dimensions are extensive due to the tapering of the bucket's sides, the unit presented no significant issues to most users.
