- PREVICOX (firocoxib) Chewable is (OA). This chewable barbeque-flavored tablet is also approved to help control postoperative pain Tablets is a veterinary prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to control pain and inflammation in dogs associated with osteoarthrosis and inflammation following soft-tissue or orthopedic surgery. Your veterinarian may administer PREVICOX anti-inflammatory before the procedure and recommend that your dog be treated for up to 3 days following the surgery after going home. PREVICOX anti-inflammatory comes in easy-to-give barbecue flavored chewable tablets. With consistent once daily administration for OA relief, most dogs show improvement within days. Talk to your veterinarian about including PREVICOX anti-inflammatory as part of your dog’s OA treatment plan and help get him on his way to getting back to himself.
