Thrustmaster Other General Game Product Types 4060252 Editorial Review
**** The Thrustmaster Viper TQS Flight Simulator Metal Throttle Quadrant has garnered a mix of reviews, highlighting a generally positive reception among flight simulation enthusiasts. Reviewers have praised the throttle's high precision and the satisfying weight of the metal Construction, enhancing the overall tactile experience. Users noted its smooth operation, making it particularly effective for simulations such as DCS with various aircraft, including the F16 and helicopters. However, some criticisms emerged concerning the design and functionality. A few users found issues with the stability of the throttle quadrant, particularly when used on desktops. The center of gravity appears to be high, causing the unit to rock and shift during use, which detracts from the realism of the flight simulator experience. This instability makes it unsuitable for casual home setups and suggests that it is best utilized in a dedicated simpit where it can be securely mounted. Despite the high price point and some users experiencing warranty issues, many believe the investment is worthwhile for serious simmers, especially as it allows for quick access to functions without needing to rely on mouse and keyboard – something that is highly valuable for VR users. In conclusion, the Thrustmaster Viper TQS offers an impressive performance with a few design Considerations that potential buyers should keep in mind. **
