What are all the nutritional values?
Answer: All per 100 grams of flour. 627 calories, 35 gms fat (4.7 which are saturated), 5.5 gms carbs, 4.5 gms sugar, 7.0 gms fibre, 24 gms protein, 0.01 gms salt -

Is this almond flour or ground almonds?
Answer: It is almond flour, finer than ground almonds. I use it for various keto recipes. -
Question:
Does the almond flour have a sell by date?
Answer: Not on this brand but most have an unopened shelf life of 12 months. Would recommend using within 3/4 months after opening though I use mine within 2 months. -
Question:
Are black particles in the bag normal?
Answer: Yes, the amount differs with each bag but it’s only tiny bits of the outer skin of the almond and will not do any harm. Just sieve with a fine meshed sieve before use if you are not happy with the bits in your baking, but I have found they do not affect it and seem to disappear when in baking. -
Question:
Is 18.67 carbs per 100 g high for almond flour?
Answer: Total carbs are 18.67 g, however net carbs which you measure for Keto or low carb diets is only 9 g. -

Is it good for macarons?
Answer: I found it very good for macaroons. -

Does this company offer extra fine almond flour?
Answer: This was supposed to be extra fine when I ordered it. I was slightly disappointed as it's not fine, but it's also not as coarse as the others. I will use it and it's been ok, but I will now look for another make that is definitely Extra Fine. -

Is this almond flour completely gluten-free?
Answer: Yes, it’s just 100% almond. -
Question:
Is this almond flour defatted?
Answer: I'm sorry - it's been a while since I bought it and I don't have the pack to hand. The total carb count on almond flour is normally higher than 6 - maybe 13 or so. But the fibre count is subtracted from the total to give net carbs. I think all those numbers may vary a bit with the different counts. The fat / oil wouldn't affect the carb count - maybe just the calories.
